| In 2004, Nicklas and I
bought an old house situated
between Trollhättan and Lidköping, outside a small place called Grästorp
in Sweden. It is only 3,5 hours drive to Oslo, Norway, where I come from. |
| |
| It was built in 1916 and was
originally the main house of a big farm called Möllentorp. Möllentorp
has been a wellknown farm since the 15th century. Today our neighbours,
one kilometer away owns the land, while the house is left with 3000
squaremeter yard that we own. The house and the lawn is surrendered by a hedge and
many charming, old oaktrees. |
| |
| The size of the house is
264 squaremeters and the ground floor contains;
Hall, a small bathroom, a big kitchen, a big diningroom, livingroom and a
room for the dogs when we are away. The first floor contains;
Hall, office/guestroom, two more guestroom, a library to
be, our new bathroom and the master bedroom. |
| |
| This house is a big
project as we intend to renovate the whole house, inside as well as
outside. Up to now, we have done the master bedroom, the bathroom and
the kitchen, as well as two balconies and a huge terrasse, but there
is a lot more to do. |

| For those who are
interested, I have added some pictures: |

| I also have some pictures
of some of the other rooms in the house. |
| These rooms aren't
finished, so I have also added pictures of what I have in mind that it
should look like |
